Grand Prix de la Découverte
A couple of months ago I entered the Grand Prix de la Découverte. A photocontest for new and emerging photographers from all over the world. And the best thing is that Michael Kenna is one of the members of the jury. Another great thing about this contest is that the winners get an exhibit during Paris Photo in November of the year. Wouldn't that be great!
Last week I received an e-mail that my image made it to the final selection round of the jury process. So keep your fingers crossed and hope that I can bring you more news in a couple of weeks.

A creator needs only one enthusiast to justify him.Man Ray
Man Ray (1890-1976) was one of the first internationaly known photographers. He was not only a great photographer but also a painter, filmmaker and maker of objects. He was part of the Surrealism and Dadaism streaming in art around 1930. In that time most people couldn't appreciate his work, it was to extreme.
But nowadays most people love his work and there are still many exhibits around the world about his work. For me he was a great inspirator during my study.
